Update Pipeline
MEKAT evolves through three infrastructure phases — from Nobara downstream to fully atomic OCI images.
Current phase: A — Phases B and C planned for 2026 and 2027.
Phase A — Downstream Nobara (Now)
Fedora → upstream packages
Nobara → gaming patches (fsync, BORE, futex2)
MEKAT → branding + profiles + hardening
Users → dnf update (~48-72h patch delay)
Phase B — Independent Fork (2026)
Fedora → upstream (official)
MEKAT CI → cherry-pick patches + build kernel
MEKAT → packages.mekat.io (~24-28h delay)
Phase C — Atomic OCI (2027)
bootc upgrade ← atomic update
bootc rollback ← instant rollback in 30s
